Community Gardens

Rotary Garden

Mill City Grows is dedicated to making community gardens thrive in Lowell!

In 2012, we partnered with the City of Lowell and the Back Central Neighborhood Group to form the Rotary Club Park Community Garden.

In the spring of 2013, we started two new gardens: Smith St Community Garden in the Lower Highlands and W 3rd St Community Garden in Centralville.

In the spring of 2014 we expanded the Smith Street Community Garden in the Lower Highlands.

In June 2015, we built our fourth community garden in the Acre Neighborhood at North Common.

In April 2016 a new garden sprung up in Cenralville at Eagle Park (aka Monsignor Keenan Park) at W. 6th and Jewett St, and we’re working with the neighborhood and the City to expand this garden as the layout of the park gets a facelift in 2017!  Fill out an application now to get on the list for this expanded garden!

If you would like to get on the waitlist for a garden plot in any garden, visit Community Garden Membership.
