Mill City Grows currently has five thriving Community Garden sites throughout the City of Lowell and two more sites launching in Spring 2018:
Community Garden Update: In 2017, Mill City Grows staff and gardeners worked diligently with the City of Lowell and the Centralville Neighborhood Action Group to create a garden expansion plan at Eagle Park on Hampshire Street. Construction on that garden began in fall 2017, and will be completed by spring 2018.
Also in 2017, we partnered with UMass Lowell to create a new garden on Dane St, in the Acre Neighborhood. Garden construction began in the fall and will also be completed in spring 2018.
