The Rotary Club Park Community Garden — Back Central Neighborhood
22 Richmond Avenue (see map below)
Date of Completion: Spring 2012
Number of Beds: 40
About The Project: In 2012, Mill City Grows partnered with the City of Lowell and the Back Central Neighborhood Group to build our very first community garden, The Rotary Club Park Community Garden. This very special space has been the hub to many Gardener Training Programs, workshops, and social gatherings, and was the first site of Mill City Grows’ annual Harvest Festival celebration in September 2012.
Joining The Garden: All 40 garden plots at Rotary Park are currently occupied. If you are interested in getting on the waiting list for a Community Garden Plot in the Rotary Club Park Community Garden, please email gardens[at]millcitygrows[dot]org or fill out a Garden Application HERE.
