Mill City Grows is excited to welcome you to our first in-person fundraising event since 2019! Join us along the beautiful Merrimack River for a special outdoor celebration to benefit MCG’s Food Access & Education Programs in Lowell. Wear your festive “farm chic” attire and enjoy tasty bites, libations, and the inspiring company of community!
Our Event Agenda:
5:30pm – 6pm: Pre-party Tour of Mill City Grows’ ROOT Kitchen & Community Space // Join us at 19 Hall Street for an in-person tour of ROOT (Raising Organic Opportunities Together). See our new kitchen and enjoy a pre-party mocktail and snack before the party begins. Our ROOT Kitchen is just a 5-minute walk to our event tent!
6pm – 7pm: Cocktail Hour Under the Tent // Enjoy tasty bites from Plantiful Food Trailer and Herban Fresh Soups, cash bar, live vinyl DJ tunes with BCreativ, and social time with fellow guests. MCG staff, program participants, and board members will be excited to welcome you!
7pm: Celebrate MCG’s 10-Year Anniversary with a Toast to the Next Decade of Digging Lowell

Bring on the harvest and dress “Farm Chic”! // Get festive with us and enhance our harvest vibe! Boots, overalls, jeans, comfy cotton dresses, and hats of all styles are welcomed. Incorporate colors and symbols of the harvest into your outfit — think pumpkin earrings, kale bowties, and carrot boutonnieres. Your imagination is the limit! Most importantly, come dressed for a comfortable fall evening outdoors.
Special Door Prize Drawing // All guests will receive a ticket to our free door prize drawing! You must be present to win. This prize package includes:
- BBQ tools
- a $90 meat package from Alpine Butcher
- a delectible hot sauce sampler from Craic Sauce

Cash Bar // Beer, wine, and soft drinks will be available all evening. Our Event Sponsors will receive complimentary drink tickets.
Event Parking:
Free parking is available next to the Tsongas Center right near our event site. Additional metered parking is available on surrounding streets (meters are free after 5pm). The George Ayotte Parking Facility (11 Post Office Square) is also nearby — regular city parking fees apply at this garage.
