Mill City Grows Volunteer Waiver

Please read carefully before signing up for a volunteer shift at Mill City Grows.
You will be required to acknowledge you have read and accept this on your registration form.

By signing up on our volunteer job registration page, you are agreeing to participate with Mill City Grows voluntarily and understand that you are responsible for your own actions and safety. You agree that you are aware of the risks of injury when working on a farm, in a garden, or any volunteer event and agree to accept those risks. You are acknowledging that you understand that Mill City Grows is not liable for any of your actions or any injuries that may incur while volunteering. You are agreeing to respect Mill City Grows’ property and will follow directions from Mill City Grows’ staff.

Participants under the age of 18 will require parental or guardian consent. If you are under the age of 18, please reach out to Kerri[at]millcitygrows[dot]org for further instructions on how to participate.

Your volunteer sign up will include a question about permission and consent for photographs to be taken during volunteer activities. 

By choosing YES, you give permission and consent for photographs to be taken during volunteer activities. You further give permission and consent that any such photographs may be published and used by Mill City Grows and Mill City Grows partners, to illustrate and promote Mill City Grows’ experiences and programs. By choosing NO, you do not want your photograph to be taken during volunteer activities and accommodations will be made to avoid taking and publishing any photos of you.
